Sleep above the river

Puelo Libre was born when the Puelo Valley was threatened by mega hydroelectric projects. Between locals and outsiders we put together the Puelo Libre festival, to raise awareness and to show there was a united group defending the river.

Today it is a meeting point between travellers and locals, where you can find help and all the information you need about the endless number of things to do around here.

The hostel

Eleven beds above the Puelo

A wooden house with one of the best views in the valley. Private rooms, lofts, two cabins in the forest and shared beds. Breakfast included in every one.

Craft beer brewed a few metres away and a sunset on the terrace above the turquoise river. The meeting point between locals and travellers.

Activities

Three lakes, two countries, one river

Trekking, rafting, packraft, fishing and the three lakes crossing into El Bolsón. We put them together and book them from the hostel.
