three lakes loop
This hike begins with one of the best views of Lago Azul, then a 30-minute walk. to reach the lake and cross by boat to the south-east shore. Where a 45min walk begins. to Lake Las Rocas. There we took another boat to cross Lago Las Rocas and then another 20-minute walk to Lago Inferior. There we take another boat that crosses us to the Segundo Corral sector to make the last 45-minute walk to the bottom of the road where the car is waiting for us to take us back to Puerto Urrutia.
*There is the option of having lunch with the Wagner family in their field on Lago Inferior. This is a German settler family who offers us an incredible lunch in which everything is produced by them.
Trekking + jetboat - Puerto Urrutia - las rosas
This hike starts by crossing the Puelo River to take a path that goes along the west bank of the river. This trail takes us to the Las Rosas sector, the walk is approximately 1.5 hours. There a boat picks us up to take us to see the walkway sector and then make the way back to Puerto Urrutia by boat.
*There is the option of visiting Las Raises, a permaculture center where they will take us on a tour of the orchards, explain the operation of their productive system and the activity will end with a forest bath.
Day 1 – This trip starts in the Primer Corral sector where the trekking begins to begin touring the Ventisquero Valley. This is a trekking of 15km, 6 hours. approx. of low difficulty along a very nice path bordering the Ventisquero River. There we arrive at the Rincon Bonito or Las Vertientes sector where we will spend the night.
Day 2 – Packraft (inflatable kayak) down the Ventisquero and Puelo rivers to Puerto Urrutia. Here we will travel all the way back along the river, this is a low difficulty float of 6 hours. approx. with incredible views of the valley.
*There is the option of spending a day in Ventisquero and there taking tours to viewpoints, to the bottom of the valley or along the river.
Day 1- Departure to the Lower Lake via Segundo Corral or Route 3 Lagos. There we take a boat that first takes us to the Carabineros checkpoint to clear customs and then takes us to the eastern tip of Lake Inferior. There we take a 20-minute walk. approx to Lago Puelo where we take another boat that takes us to the gendarmerie to clear Argentina customs and then to the Lago Puelo dock where we take the transport that takes us to Bolson to enjoy delicious food, get to know the town and its wonderful craft fair . There we will have a reservation in a local hotel, cabin or hostel to spend the night.
Day 2 – The same as day 1 back to Chile.
rafting
This begins in Puerto Urrutia to the Santo Domingo sector. Passing through the gate, an incredible section in which the entire river enters a 15-meter box and the strong rapids begin. Rapids class III – IV duration 3.5hrs
It starts in the Primer Corral sector to go down the Puelo River by raft or packraft with wonderful views of the valley. class II rapids.
- Packraft – this consists of going down the river fishing in a packraft from the La Pasarela sector to Puerto Urrutia
- Boat – Leaving Puerto Urrutia you travel down and up the river
- El Porton – This fishing is by kataraft or raft going from Puerto Urrutia to Santo Domingo.
